Hashtag # - How and Why we use Hash# tag on Facebook

The Hash sign looks like this "#" and it is named on social media Hashtag = #(your_tag)

Hashtag was first introduced by Twitter and still using it for trending world wide

How can we use Hashtag?

First we need to put hash sign # and then your word which you want to tag in for example, if you want to tag a word "blue" or "animals" first you need to put hash sign and then your word.

#blue or #animals. 

It can also be your name #steve or #jhonson or anything which you want to tag is just before # sign without any space.You can also tag a full line or full sentence but it is important peoples don't use a full line or sentence. 

for example: #iloveyou #iwanttobewithyouforever #whatansidea #Anythingwhichyouwanttotag

Anything which you want to tag just before # and without spaces.

Why we use Hashtag?

The purpose of using hashtag is to let you know what's going on related to this tag all over the world.If you noticed on facebook when you write something in your status or anywhere on comment like this #love #anything #yourword just after your space the tag Highlight itself like this

#love #anything #yourword

These highlighted words are clickable after you post them in status or in comment.

An address is given to these words(hashtag) that they can trend all over the world or can be seen for anyone.when someone exactly use your hashtag or your word just before # sign they can see what you wrote after using hashtag.

for example. Your name is steve you live in england and you used hashtag #inlove anywhere in comment or public status.
